164. I am heaven bound by God’s grace
Thanks to Steps to Personal Revival I am heaven bound by God’s grace. On July 5 2021 I decided fasting daily for the next forty days after reading about Moses in Patriarch and Prophets. One of my supplications was to be Spirit filled. After 4 weeks, Providence led me to download the book and within two weeks of reading and putting it into practice, I experienced God in phenomenal ways. I confess, life is not hard when walking in the Spirit of God daily. This book is God’s providence to His people who thirst for the knowledge of God in these last days. My life is no longer the same any more. God bless and keep you and I look forward to seeing you in heaven and we’ll sing songs together. JDK EE 01092022 von Papua-Neuguinea
165. I experience more victories daily
I am Pastor and Chaplain from Babcock University, Nigeria, West Africa working and pastoring Siloam Valley church, Babcock university teaching hospital.
My church members and I have been greatly blessed and lives transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit by studying Steps To Personal Revival, Abide in Jesus and Spirit Filled Coworkers of Christ.
Personally I have read them several times and the Holy Spirit is still working on me in multiple ways: My prayer time has improved from 5 am to 4 am. God has cut short a thousand life struggles in my life. My relationship with my wife and children is more Christ-like. I experience more victories daily. I hear God more clearly speaking and giving me more guidance, I see Him work more miracles in the church and at home, more peace of mind the greatest is the joy of daily surrender to the Lord. There is more I can share but that may be some other time.
Presently the Lord had lay the burden in my heart, together with church to distribute 15,000 copies of your book *Abide In Jesus* to our university community and beyond. however we do not have the resources to place an order. Based on this constraint we would like to ask your permission to print locally here in Nigeria for distribution free of charge.
Many do not know the secret to victory over sin, addiction and life struggles. Our desire is that many experiende the joy of daily surrender and also e revival and reformation through the power of the Holy Spirit. ATS EE 22022022 from Nigeria / West Africa
166. Joy and happiness that let me speechless
I just wanted to share my personal experience with the book “steps to personal revival” that I’ve received as a gift on my baptism last year. – First question that came through my mind as a newly baptist member was … what now next? And I decided to go through the book. I was busy but I instantly started feeling such joy and happiness that let me speechless. All I could do was just cry “thank you, Jesus”. I could feel the comfort and finally could tell what it feels like to be filled with Holy Spirit and how important it is for every christian. Also could see the difference between a life filled with Holy Spirit and life without it. All I can say is thank you. May our Almighty grand you that wisdom and Spirit throughout your life. 167. An Elder used of our dear Lord in a wonderful way
I have been an Elder of the Church for 7 years, I am 30 years old, but I have never tasted the love of God in my life in such a real way as now, in the last two years, after receiving the book Steps to Personal Revival. I realized with clarity what was missing and how great a loss I had in my spiritual life, my professional life and even in the church leadership. I was a carnal man, depending on my human abilities and only got weak and human results.
After I received the book, I read the book more than 10 times. I prepared several sermons based on the book and also on the book the Revolution of the Spirit (Unknown to us). God called me to preach in the various churches in the city, and all the churches where I took the messages during a week of prayer, they woke up and I realized that the call was important for them. As soon as I finished a week in a church, I started in another. For all where I went I told of the joy I now have in Jesus and the messages gained a new life, for they were full of testimonies; I always recommended the book Steps to Personal Revival.
Still this year I continued studying volume 2 Abide in Jesus. I prepared 10 more messages and in the first 4 months I did 4 weeks of prayer, and now God called me as a worker to another island. Everything had come to a standstill, nothing happened in the church. I also did a week of revival, and all the people commented to each other that the message was just for them.
There was a moment when an 80-year-old lady who was visiting church, at the end of the sermon, I found her sobbing and asking me what she would do to be saved.
Being God’s hand to free from severe Pornography
A young man shared his story with me that he was more than 25 years trapped in pornography even though he was born in an Adventist home. He said he got married 7 months ago thinking he would get rid of this sin that way, but he couldn’t. He was cheating on his wife, involved with many women, etc, and He told me that since I arrived and started to preach, he had no peace. He longs to be freed. I asked if he had prayed and asked God for forgiveness: he told me, yes. But he was not sure that him was forgiven. Then I remembered chapter 5 (Praying with Promises) of the book steps to personal revival, which talks about prayer based on Bible promises. I prayed with Him and in tears he received God’s forgiveness. Then I prayed the Holy Spirit on Him, he opened completely with his wife, asked for forgiveness, God worked with the wife too, she forgave him, and that same day He was baptized, and soon after he told me that he had never experienced such peace in his life…
These days in the church we are in the 40 days of prayer at dawn based on the book Spirit-Filled Coworkers of Jesus (Coobreiros de Jesus; Portugueze), more than half of the church has participated and every morning has been days of praise and testimonies.
The church has now involved in the mission: health fair, course on how to stop smoking, Bible classes (more than 40 people – every day), etc… every Saturday we have more than 20 friends in the church. Many blessings…
A little child and his grandmother passed in front of the church and the Spirit touched the child in such a way that he cried so much that he wanted to go in there, and on the following Saturday they came to our church… I have witnessed one miracle after another.
All honor and glory to our God. EE 300522 Name known; Country and City withhold
168. One foot in worldly pursuits and one foot in a spiritual direction
For nearly my entire life, I had one foot in worldly pursuits and distractions and one foot in a spiritual direction. I didn’t want to fully let go of the world and let God have all of me — I wasn’t 100% surrendered. The second coming of Jesus was something I thought about, but it was not something that took much priority in my life because I was distracted and deceived by my Laodicean state.
I couldn’t “fix” myself no matter how hard I tried. I was forgetting to ASK for the power (Holy Spirit) that could transform me.
In the summer of 2018, I read “Steps to Personal Revival” by Helmut Haubeil and came to the sudden awareness of my desperate need for a daily baptism of the Holy Spirit. While reading the book I started to daily seek, knock and ask (Luke 11:9-13) for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and to fully let go of my struggles with the world. His work in my life began to transform my character.‘
The Holy Spirit is the One who changes us. He helped me and continues to help me die to self and live daily for Jesus. In time, I was no longer living in a Laodicean state — I was all in for Him!
May I give a Call to Action
Self must die, so the “I” can be removed and replaced with Christ, so that Christ lives in us. In Galatians 2:20, the Bible says, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (ESV). In Luke 9:23, Jesus says, “…If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” (ESV).
I’m excited that we serve such an amazing God who patiently waits for us to open our hearts and lives to Him. I’m energized by His miraculous power that I’ve experienced by daily asking for a baptism of the Holy Spirit — this daily baptism has helped get both of my feet off this world.
What about you? Do you desire a deeper relationship with the Lord? Spend time daily with Him and ASK!
Ask daily for the Holy Spirit and put both feet on the “ladder” toward Heaven. Then, “Get Ready” to follow Jesus wherever He wants you to go. Get Ready MAGAZINE USA, November 30, 2020, Volume 1 | Issue 10
169. Request of a Conference in Peru/South America
Greetings from Lima, Peru. … The reason for this is to request authorization for the printing of the Book Abide in Jesus in a print run of 5000, to share with all the members of the Central West Mission of Peru. I read the book and its content has given me new concepts in how to learn to talk to God. In fact, it is changing the way I relate to God. Thank you very much for your attention and I look forward to your confirmation. … EE 230720 #168 A.B. von Peru
170. The spiritual impact was wonderful
Last year our Church used two of your books (Steps to Personal Revival and Abide in Jesus). The spiritual impact was wonderful. Praise God for such a deeper experience!
But we would humbly request if you could help introduce us to other spirit-coated books that will strengthen our spiritual lives significantly. The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and we must all prepare to meet Him when He comes. … EE 290720 #169 G.O.O von Nigeria
171. Over a Thousand Participants in Abiding in Jesus Internet Prayer Group
I live in Curitiba-Paraná, Brazil. Last year our church distributed the book Steps to Personal Revival. It’s a wonderful book. I’ve read it three times already. I have already prepared three sermons on this message. – I was very happy that a friend invited me to a prayer group: Every morning at 5 o’clock. The prayer group is studying the second book, Abide in Jesus. Today, through these two books, more than a thousand brothers participate in a prayer meeting every day. Miracles and testimonies happen between us. When I joined this class a month ago, we were 200 participants. Every day God is bringing more brothers into the group who are searching for the Holy Spirit and preparing for Christ’s return. Many join in from other countries through Zoom. Now, after a month we are already more than 1000 participants. The group keeps getting bigger. Thank God. Five ministers lead this group, which has the theme: Searching for the Holy Spirit. I hope that you can take part in our meeting one day. I’ll send you the relevant number. The host of the group is Pastor Wagner Teixeira in Brasilia. He runs the whole event. The class builds us up a lot. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the books about the Holy Spirit. You have given me a new perspective on God and the Holy Spirit. … EE111120 L.T.G #170 from Brazil
Addendum by Helmut Haubeil: I was invited to give a zoom sermon to this group on Dec. 13, 2020. The topic was: “Who works? Do I work for God with my power or does God work through me with his divine powers.” By this time the movement had already grown to 3,000 people. You have to imagine that: sermon was spoken in Bad Aibling/Germany, translation in Bornemouth/England, listeners in Brazil. We could also talk to each other. There were 11 pastors present. One leader spoke enthusiastically about his association and how they had printed 16,000 books of Steps to Personal Revival (in Portuguese). The sister of whom the above testimony was given was introduced to me on this occasion. We were able to speak to each other for a moment. Amazing events.

173. Missionschool-Students and the Revival Message
Let me briefly share a beautiful experience: A graduate of TGM (Austrian Medical Missonary School), Jakob* (name changed), now works in a big city as Bible worker. He got us to the end of last week visited at the Eden Mission School here in Czech. He has Steps to Personal Revival and Abiding in Jesus studied and now predominately gives sermons and lectures on these subjects. He notices, that these issues are extremely important, the most important in general, and that the Holy Spirit works very strongly when he does this issues. He also held one of his sermons with us at the mission school that was really good and full of the Holy Spirit. He wants still study Spirit-Filled Workers of Jesus and From Lack to Abundance: How to have more of the Holy Spirit.
I am currently teaching the students directly from the book Spirit-Filled Co-workers of Jesus. The Students are really deeply impressed by this book and think that there are things in there that are very good and important, simple perfectly in a nutshell and very few Adventists remember it are aware. Our students are increasing from week to week motivated to the complete surrender and to the daily request for the Holy Spirit. You can also see how they grow and how God is using them. These are my first initial experiences, so to speak teaching this third book in a mission school. I myself am very grateful that our students really
more and more the Importance and absolute urgency of the Holy Spirit perceive. EE 010722 S.N. Director of Medical Mission School in Austria, now in Czech
174. Holy Spirit improves family live
I have a Good News. From June 9th to 30th my wife and I read the book Steps to personal Revival and prayed about the content every morning. It has been like we were doing a journey in search of the Holy Spirit every day. Praise the Lord, we achieved it, and many things happened. Our marriage relationship improved much, we became more tolerant and more supportive toward one another. Even our relationship with the children improved in a sense that the yelling to them diminished largely. We began to talk and to pray more about the Holy Spirit with them. My wife said this morning she has become more and more grateful to God during the journey. My deepest gratitude to our dear Lord. #169 EE 300622 L.R. Pastor from Madagascar
175. Overwhelmed by the Chances
I first heard about Steps To Personal Revival in a podcast of Dwight’s September series on baptism by the Holy Spirit. I also started praying daily for a total filling of the Holy Spirit and I am overwhelmed by the changes it has brought in my life and perspective on life. Several months ago the Holy Spirit prompted me to reread Roger Morneau’s “Incredible Answers to Prayer,” “More Incredible Answers to Prayer,” When You Need More Incredible Answers to Prayer.” I found that these books go hand in hand with Steps to Personal Revival. I now have my own intercessory prayer ministry and every day I am seeing evidence of the Holy Spirit moving in the lives of those for whom I pray. “…I will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer…” (Zech 12:10) PL www.revivalandreformation 2018 from USA

On one hand, the Holy Ghost was given to us in order to stay in us. On the other hand, we should continually ask by faith for the Holy Ghost. How do we solve this apparent contradiction?
On one hand: Jesus said in John 14:17 NKJV: “For He [the Holy Ghost] dwells with you and will be in you.” Acts 2:38 NKJV says: “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized … and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” On the other hand: When Jesus taught about prayer, He said in Luke 11: 9-13 (NKJV): “… ask, and it will be given to you; …how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Ephesians 5:18 says: “… be filled with the Spirit.” In both cases in the original Greek text, it is a continual request.
We received life at our birth. In order to sustain this life we have to eat, drink, exercise, etc. It is exactly the same in our spiritual life. We have the Holy Ghost through our baptism by water and the Spirit (born again) so that this spiritual life remains in us our whole life. In order to sustain this spiritual life it is necessary to use the spiritual means that God provided: the Holy Ghost, God’s Word, prayer, our testimony, etc. Jesus said in John 15:4: “Abide in me, and I in you.” E.G. White says concerning this: “Abiding in Christ means a constant receiving of His Spirit, a life of unreserved surrender to His service.”
That is why we need to daily ask for the Holy Ghost by faith and surrender ourselves to the Lord every morning with everything we have and are.
